DESIRE on release in the UK from 4 March 2011
Scenario's much-praised feature film DESIRE is currently on release in the UK at selected cinemas in London and nationwide.
This bold and intriguing psychodrama directed by Gareth Jones and starring Oscar Pearce, Tella Kpomahou, Daisy Smith and Adam Slynn has toured widely, screening at Apollo Piccadilly (4 - 10 March), Watermans Arts Centre (7 - 9 March), Arts Picturehouse, Cambridge (25-31 March), Glasgow Film Theatre (11 April) and a number of key Welsh venues including Chapter, Cardiff (10 March), Aberystwyth Arts Centre (11, 18, 21 March) as part of the 2011 WOW (Wales One World) Festival, and Courtyard Hereford as part of Borderlines Film Festival.
Upcoming dates are confirmed at Theatr Clwyd (7 June), Galerie Caernarfon (31 August) and Scala Prestatyn (1 Sept).

BABYLON Celebrates 5th year in 2011
BABYLON EUROPE welcomed 11 projects to its 5th anniversary script development workshop in Rotterdam 1-4 February.
Participants from Austria, Belgium, France, the Netherlands and the UK took part in a vibrant and dynamic meeting of projects across cultures. They are currently rewriting their projects in advance of the Babylon @ Cannes session in May.
BABYLON-INTERNATIONAL a major new initiative stimulating cross-border co-operation between European and West African filmmakers has been awarded funding for its second year of activity by the EU's MEDIA Mundus. The call for project submissions is currently open, and the first workshop of the year will be held in May in Berlin, with a production lab planned in Abuja for September.
