DESIRE Festival Success Continues

Scenario's much-praised feature film DESIRE continues its rollout of screenings and festival appearances.

BABYLON Expands in 2010

BABYLON completed its 2010 edition with four high-profile feature film development workshops.

Babylon-Europe took place in Rotterdam (2-5 Feb), and included participants from Austria, France, Germany, The Netherlands and the UK;

Babylon-International was held for the first time in Berlin (16-20 Feb), a major new initiative funded by the EU's MEDIA International and the Nigerian Film Corporation, this year bringing together filmmakers from Europe and West Africa.

After a rewrite and prep phase, Babylon-International participants took part in the first ever Babylon Production Lab in Abuja (26 April-6 May), shooting selected scenes from their films as promos which which were showcased at the Zuma Film Festival, followed by a special presentation at the Cinémas du Monde Pavilion during the Cannes Film Festival.

Babylon-Europe projects graduated to the annual networking and marketing workshop at Cannes Market, (15-20 May).
