In search of diversion, he finds himself befriended by Redi, a guy more desperate than he is, one of London's many semi-legal visitors on a quest to save his sister Malvina from the sex trade. Sucked into the underbelly of a city he barely knows, Damien starts playing music with Redi.

Synopsis:
American scientist commissioned to decontaminate a disused mine is trapped by long forgotten disaster and caught between two women in parallel lives.
In the river that once flooded the mine he rescues a drowning woman who seems to recognize him, who might just be the lover he left behind. Refusing his help, she stalks him through a landscape haunted by grief and betrayal back into a past that isn’t even his own, that echoes with superstition, murder, false witness and infanticide.
Summoned to account for the sins of his fathers, he falls prey to a possession that claims his family, his life, his very soul.
